As mentioned in the previous post, my girlfriend and I are re-trying all the previous whisky we had the opportunity to afford to try and are now trying to see if our new palates,  have evolved where we appreciate the whisky a lot more. This was also on our list of disliked Whisky. The 15 and the 18 year olds. We love the 12 year old and we currently have it in our collection.

Name: The Dalmore 15 Year Old Single Malt

Region:  Highland, Scotland

ABV: 40%

Nose: Initially you smell cherry and sweet spices, with some brown sugar, caramel, and nuts.

Palate: Cinnamon and nutmeg give the spices on the tongue with some dried fruits shinning through. Lemons, Fruitcake and figs are present as well.

Finish:  Medium to Long Finish, with nutty spices, richness, malted barley and log fire finish.
