We got a hot one for you today. We spoke to an Instagram model Natasha Cynn or as shes known on IG as @natashacynn. Read her full interview below, get to know her and then give her a follow. She’s got a lot of things going on that you don’t want to miss!

Natasha, lets kick it off from the top. Who are you and why should people not only follow you on Instagram but also checkout your other sites?

NC: My name is Natasha Cynn. I’m a model based in California.

If you like adventures overseas, glamour photography, learning about new brands, and seeing a not so typical Asian–then you’ll probably like my Instagram.

I have a website and might consider reopening a subscription service for my photos.

Over the years you’ve built a Natasha Cynn brand. What would you say were some keys to your success?

NC: One of the keys to my success was building a strong network in the fashion and entertainment industry. I enjoy connecting with other companies and artists from different countries. I get a lot of love from Japan and France.

Most importantly, I invested a lot of time into improving myself as a person and my modeling portfolio. I went on modeling networking trips & business seminars. I don’t believe school is the answer to success, but I’m actually pretty educated within the field.

I have two Associate’s degrees– one in Fashion Design and Liberal Arts. I also have two fashion styling certificates from two different schools. I’m going to try business school out too. Knowledge is power (shrugs).

Honestly, I think my good attitude and personality has been a key factor in spite of all that other stuff. I’m a big believer in manifesting the life you want through the Law of Attraction.

General words of wisdom you live by…

NC: Regarding opportunities in life… “If there’s no door, then make one!”

My thoughts on being alive & dying:

“Live for today, not for tomorrow…

and remember it’s better to burn out than to fade away.”

And I have tattooed on me: “Trust no one”, “Live fast” & “Love hurts”

I am sure your career has allowed you to travel to many exotic locations. Tell us your favorite travel destination and what is it about that place that creates such wonderful memories?

NC: Top country I’ve visited would be Singapore. It’s such a pretty country. Very clean, luxurious, and plants everywhere. I seriously love walking in gardens and looking at flowers. It’s known for being a garden city. I was happy visiting Singapore and would love to go back.

Fiji has a soft spot in my heart… someone walked a mile in the rain with no shoes for me. A dog on this secluded island stole their shoes. That’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me!

You’re obviously a very sexy model and being part of an industry whose only emphasis is on the outside characteristics of a person, you also come off as someone who is down to earth and sweet. What would you say helped you stay so grounded?

NC: I think it’s just my nature– I have a genuine personality.

I’m outspoken, outgoing… I’m just super real, and I think others can relate to my vibe. Being an empathizing soul, I don’t like seeing people hurt.  I didn’t really have many good role models, family, or friends growing up; it hurt. I saw a lot of people I didn’t want to be like– so I think that’s helped me to remember to stay grounded.

Also, I didn’t have much support from others or much mentoring when I started modeling. It wasn’t a respected career choice in my family. Someone once said to me something along the lines like modeling is a hobby… that really made me frustrated. But I think it’s helped me to stay motivated and prove them wrong somehow.

Let’s talk photoshoots. What does the photographer have to absolutely have or what traits do you look for in a photographer that you just love working with them and makes the shoot comfortable?

NC: I like photographers that are quiet, just shoot, and are chill. That don’t push me to do weird stuff. That don’t hit on me. I like professional photographers (laughs).

Boyflashyy in Vegas was a chill photographer. I really enjoyed his presence and photography.

If it’s a photographer I haven’t worked with yet, I’ll look through their port and ask my other model girlfriends if they’ve worked with them.

Do you give importance to a healthy lifestyle/diet?

NC: I don’t smoke. I can’t really drink much and with modeling you need to take care of yourself. I try to be as healthy as I can, but when I’m feeling down and traveling my health gets a little messed up. I drink a lot of water and make sure to get enough sleep every day!

Let’s get a bit more personal. I am sure everyone wants to be your boyfriend, but are there definitive qualities a man should have that you just find absolutely irresistible and could not live without?

NC: I adore guys that are a bit shy or chill. I tend to be attracted to those with the opposite personality of myself. A man who’s ambitious, clean, and healthy are big turn-ons.

In the future, I think it would be nice to meet someone who supports my dreams and goals… I’ve yet to meet someone who truly accepts me for all that I am and all that I could be.

What’s your take on Instagram in general? Do you like to curate your feed or keep it as close as possible to your authentic self?

NC: When Instagram first came out 10 years ago in 2010… jobs like influencers and social media management didn’t exist.  Instagram definitely has been a game changer. I tailor my feed to modeling posts or anything related to that.

Three favorite trends at this moment?

NC: Trends? Well I just got back from the trade show Magic… Bright colors. Classic hairstyles. Natural glow makeup.

Any last words? Should your fans be on the lookout for something special in 2020?

NC: Just stay posted on my Instagram and a possibly revamped app. I’ll be doing a model video pretty soon too!
