We did a quick fun interview with Cathelene who is an expressive model who transitioned into her nude photography. Being nude does not need to be obscene, but more importantly it should bring a sense of self confidence to the muse. Checkout her quick but fun interview below.
Cathelene, please tell us who you are?
C: I am a 19 year old Filipino/ Italian girl born and raised from Pensacola, Fl.
How did you develop an interest in modeling and traveling respectively?
C: I have always loved to be in front of a camera. I love being able to express myself as it’s being captured. As far as traveling goes, i have forever felt this urge inside of me to want to explore the world.
If we were to scroll through your gram, one can notice a slight shift into more erotica like photos. What brought on this shift?
C: I shoot nude, because for me it brings confidence. Being confident is about feeling powerful when you’re vulnerable. As for the erotic style, sensual does not always mean sexual.
How important are ethical standards for influencers in any genre they represent?
C: Ethical standards are important as an influencer to be an idol and a respective peer for your community. You want to stick to your principles while still inspiring others.
When looking for a photographer to work with, what do you look for that seals the deal and makes for the best work relationship? I look for credibility and line of work.
C: I look to see models they’ve worked with, check reviews, and inspect their social media. As for the working relationship i go off energy, it’s always best to work with someone you’re able to be comfortable around.
Being part of an industry whose only emphasis is on the outside characteristics of a person, how have you stayed grounded?
C: I’ve stayed grounded by staying true to who i am and not believing in conformity.
Who are your favorite musicians to jam out to when no one’s looking?
C: ASAP rocky, Nicki Minaj, J Cole, Young Thug, and Kodak.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
C: I would love to travel to Tokyo, Japan.
What’s your favorite thing to do in your down time?
C: Spend time in nature and cuddle up in warm clothes while watching Netflix.
They say you are what you eat, what are you?
C: Pasta. My diet typically consists of pasta and vegetables.
How would you describe your philosophy on health and wellness?
C: Health is important because you must always take care of yourself. Self love isn’t only about loving your appearance and your flaws but also taking care of yourself so you can be the best version of yourself possible. It’s important to maintain a healthy lifestyle as your body is the foundation of your life.
Best moment/memory of 2019?
C: Reconnecting my love with my best friend of three years.
Lastly, tell us about your dream collab, who is it and why?
C: My dream collab would be a photo shoot with deaf male model Nyle Dimarco. He is incredibly handsome and inspiring and it’d be a dream to work with him.
