Who is Aleksandra?
AK: My name is Aleksandra Karbonara and I’ve been into fashion, modeling and beauty industries for quite a long time. It feels like these sorts of interests were developed on an intuitive basis, also working in the modeling sphere opened for me a lot of new things from a different perspective. Been doing modeling for 2 years now.
What have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced while traveling?
AK: Exploring new things while you traveling is always a good idea! I`d say the biggest challenge for me, but not too big haha, was accidental contact with exotic animals (Cali or Florida) and the absence of the food I am used to.
What do you think is unique about your audience and the way that you engage with them?
AK: I feel like, in most cases, your audience is the one who reflects you and your promise. It`s an absolute truth that my people are unique, because every time I get messages in regards to the modeling/fashion sphere, I realize that my followers aren’t just observing but also tend to grow. And it’s always a mutual inspiration for us!
How do you decide which brands to partner with, and how do you ensure that your fans are receptive to sponsored content?
AK: I prefer partnering with brands whose products I would use by myself. We have to remember it`s a big responsibility for you as an influencer to offer people a qualitative product because they trust you.
Being part of an industry whose only emphasis is on the outside characteristics of a person, how have you stayed grounded?
AK: In the beginning, there were a lot of uncertain thoughts of mine in terms of self-confidence and receptiveness towards what certain people say. It`s a fact, the modeling industry primarily emphasizes external qualities. However, not all fabulously looking humans who willing to get into the industry are able to get there. In my personal conclusion, there can`t be any success if there`s no balance between your appearance and internal perception of yourself, such as emotional balance, self-confidence, and calmness. These are key factors that helped me whenever it was needed.
You’ve worked as a model. What is the most annoying and most enticing aspect of this work?
AK: That`s a really fun question to think about! Some annoying situations were meant to be because the organizational level was poor. It was just a few times. I never blamed anyone, but we just didn’t have a chance to work again 🙂
The most exciting part of the modeling is when I see the real fruits of labor.
What are your three favorite trends at this moment?
AK: Don’t follow trends! Be one!
Where do you hope your Instagram journey takes you? What are you looking forward to in the new year? Anything we should be on the lookout for?
AK: I cross my fingers that this IG journey will bring more opportunities and wonderful connections to the new year.
What’s the most overrated part of working in Social media?
AK: The most underrated part: Some people don`t realize how much work stands behind one picture. But it`s still not their responsibility, just bring me more likes.
Best moment/memory of 2019?
AK: Working on ABC at Tamron Hall Show was probably one of the most exciting moments in my modeling experience this year. I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for everybody supporting me on this wonderful trip!
