A: Wow… that’s a tough one. You’re really putting me on the spot! 😂 If I had to pick just one, it would be the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Edición de Aniversario Personal Reserve. It’s a cigar that never disappoints me—rich, elegant, and incredibly balanced. I’d pair it with a great sipping tequila, preferably a reposado because the agave sweetness and oak complement the cigar beautifully. A: I think most people would be surprised to learn that the cigar industry isn’t driven by machines—it’s driven by people. It’s one of the few luxury products where the human touch still defines the final result.

A: My late grandfather. Unfortunately, I didn’t start smoking cigars until after he had passed, so we never had the chance to share one together. If I could change that, I’d sit beside him, light one of his hand-rolled cigars, and spend hours listening to his stories. Knowing what cigars mean to me today, I would have loved to experience that tradition with the man who unknowingly inspired my journey.

A: I think first impressions can sometimes come with assumptions. Some people still assume that because I’m a woman, I won’t be as knowledgeable about cigars. I actually enjoy those moments because I know my knowledge and experience will speak for themselves. By the end of the conversation, those assumptions usually disappear. If being a woman has worked to my advantage, it’s because I’ve been able to help make cigars feel more approachable to a broader audience while earning respect through authenticity, passion, and consistency—not stereotypes.
Q: Is there a cigar you love that most “purists” would secretly judge you for—and why do you enjoy it anyway?
A: Honestly? I don’t think I have one. I don’t smoke cigars because they’re trendy or because someone else approves of them. If I enjoy a cigar, I’ll smoke it proudly. Life’s too short to let “purists” dictate what belongs in my humidor. Smoke what you love, not what earns you approval.
