On the best Sunday of the year so far, February 11, 2018, Eric aka Instagram @scotchandtime held one of the biggest Whisky Events to kick off the year.  In a series of ScotchandTime events, New York was the first city of the year to kick off such a momentous event. Held at the BKLYN Commons facility in Brooklyn, NY, this invite only event featured some of the top Whisky and Watch Brands in the market. The attendees were the top Whisky Influencers on Social Media today. If all the amazing whisky was not enough, the event also featured a good amount of giveaways sponsored by Ely aka Instagram’s @thescotchwhisperer and Laura Baddish of the Baddish Group.

The event featured many brand ambassadors among them was Nicolas Villalon who provided the whisky connoisseurs with some memorable drams.   The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask Limited Edition Cask Strength bottling and two sensational Glenrothes – The 1978 Edition and the 1992 Lustau Sherry Cask Finish.

Nicolas was also kind enough to bring not 1 but 2 bottlings of the Macallan Reflexion, which quickly became a crowd favorite before the end of the night.

Highland Park’s own Martin Markvardsen, the Sr. Brand Ambassador delighted the crowd with the new release of the Highland Park 17 “The Dark” single malt which has been drawn from European oak Sherry-seasoned casks and a special bottle for the night of the Highland Park 30.

Balvenie Brand Ambassador Marlon Tulaszewski let the Balevenie 25 and the Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch number 2 flow all night.

Tracie Franklin of Glenfiddich introduced us to the coveted Glenfiddich 30, which resulted in heavy pours all night as well as the Glenfiddich 21 Winter Storm.

Others in attendance were Kavalan, Nikka, Virginia Distillery, Old Potrero, Glenmorangie, Linh Do aka WhiskyAnorach the artist behind hand drawn distilleries and the French Whisky Brenne by Allison Parc.

U-Boat Italian Watches, Montegrappa Italian Pens as well as the TF Cufflinks provided a sneak-peak into their unbelievable collection of luxury products.

With whisky flowing all night, the influencers were guided through each tasting by the brand ambassador who made the tastings even more memorable. The fun and vibrant vibe of the crowd, filled with laughter, cheers and carefully poked jabs, made this event one for the ages. What made this night even more memorable was the camaraderie among those in attendance. The whisky community is truly a generous group whose sole purpose is to share the love of this beautiful spirit with fellow like minded individuals. It was an extremely satisfying evening for whisky lovers.
