TASTETHEDRAM FEBRUARY 2017 WHISKY AWARD OF THE MONTH 

We had the opportunity to try the Heritage Distilling Brown Sugar Bourbon, and it was absolutely fantastic. It had hints of caramel brown sugar sweetness with like oak and almost a butterscotch/toffee like cream on the palate. On the nose we picked up a nice long whiff of sweetness with some vanilla. The Finish is light and toasty with light to medium finish. Although it doesn’t have a strong finish, it’s still quite nice on its own, or even better in a Manhattan or a Classic Old Fashioned. This bourbon wins our February 2017 Whiskey of the Month Award.
