Declaimer: I received a sample bottle of this product from Wyoming Whiskey for purpose of my honest review on this product.

Lately, since my girlfriend and I have been drinking more and more Bourbon and less Scotch, our palates have really come accustomed to all that bourbon has to offer. I used to be single minded thinking that all bourbon pretty much tasted the same, however, I was so wrong. So this was an interesting Small Batch Bourbon that I have not tried previously.

Name: Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch Bourbon

Region: Kirby, Wyoming, USA

Proof: 88

Nose: I smelled light oak, with green apples and a slight touch of sweet caramel. The nose did not burn although it has some heat in the palate for a low 88 proof bourbon.

Palate: Wet wood, Caramel Crisp, Brown Sugar and a touch of cinnamon. It had a nice slight burn on the tongue as well. However, did not have the burn down the throat like some very heavy high proof bourbons do.

Finish: Short to Medium, with more richness and spice on the backend. It seemed to decapitate after a minute.
